ACLU No Help
Today, I spoke with the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) legal advice line.
I was told they only have 7 attorneys for Northern California and they only accept cases that have to do with civil rights and liberties. Not to do with police or dogs.
The girl Alice was only able to take a few notes, but was unable to actually discuss Charlie’s case with me.
I can’t recall exactly what she said, but it was something to the effect … because it’s about a dog.

The Opposition
Keep it under consideration that most of the opposition here are just “plants” by the opposing parties.
Just clones of the same people who keep coming here to make it appear like there is a following of people that actually oppose David.
You can spot them right away. Funny name. New profile. All privacy blocked. Asking very leading and strange questions. Repeating the same questions and points that are heard every time.
But never anything new. Nothing ever really significant.
With that, I understand that people may not agree or like me. I can accept that.
But I can’t accept repeated unwanted harassment, badgering, bullying, humiliating, attacks, name calling, … and somehow insinuating that I’m some type of horrible criminal that should be publicly crucified.
People that can’t be civil and supportive of this injustice to myself and Charlie will be removed. Charlie’s mom, myself, and Charlie’s family and friends have had enough.
Charlie and I are not hurting anyone.
Charlie’s family are actually real live people with feelings. We are only asking for help in what many … many people know and feel is a complete and utter injustice and travesty.

HSC, tRD gets this record from an ACC database of notes that they take while in the performance of their jobs. ACC also included this information in the court record.
However, the man is NOT my stepfather. The man “admittedly” busted into my room through a locked door and attacked me with a metal pole. It was self defense.
The case was dismissed and I was fully exonerated.
The interesting part about this one sided information is that ACC included this in the record to “salt” the record and to make me appear like a bad guy.
… but this has nothing to do with Charlie and him being declared vicious and dangerous! This doesn’t prove that I am a bad person or irresponsible dog owner. This doesn’t prove Charlie’s guilt or my guilt in this corrupt vicious dog hearing.
This is simply an outright attempt to slander, discredit, manipulate, corrupt, “hurt”, provoke, and distort the truth.
It’s heartless and cruel.

Dear Help Save Charlie,
I hope your day is going well.
Today I am back to work to right many wrongs in Charlie’s case. Justice has been denied in every aspect of Charlie’s case, as well as mine.
There has been no replies to my calls and voice mails to the San Francisco City Attorney’s office or San Francisco Animal Control.
Back on January 14th, I received information that Charlie had already been moved to a new location prior to me proposing a placement as stipulated in the agreement and ordered by the Federal court.

It has been confirmed that Charlie has been moved out of his kennel and is in transit to a new location. We know that Charlie’s supporters are anxious for photos and additional information, but the priority for Charlie’s caretakers is for him to get settled in and decompress. This information has already been forwarded to all parties including Federal Magistrate Nathaniel Cousins with no reply.
Meanwhile, we keep getting photos posted on another Facebook page of a non-aggressive Charlie at a new unknown location. Charlie is on a leash being photographed with no indication of viciousness, a dog that is dangerous, or a dog that is out of control.
However, it’s important to note that the photos have no date and no location. The photos could be old. No member of the public has seen Charlie in about 6 months. Nobody has provided proof that Charlie is even alive.
Even if Charlie is alive, isn’t it odd that another party is receiving photos of him? Isn’t it odd that no one can see him or check on his health? Isn’t it odd that I haven’t been able to see him for 6 months?
What law or right does SF and ACC have to treat people like this?
Finally, I want you to know that there is nothing in the agreement that says Charlie cannot be returned to me. The 3rd party has full authority to return Charlie to me should they feel it appropriate.
Charlie’s case has been settled and that means the vicious and dangerous declaration is null and void. Both parties have a mutual release of all claims.

I so feel for you, it all seems so unfair. I live in the uk and one of my dogs always barks at horses and would probably bite if he got close enough and this is because he is scared not be cause he is aggressive; However, most riders are ok with this. I hope with all my heart that things go your way and that sweet Charlie is home with you his caring and commited owners very soon xxx

i agree with everything said here about charlie being returned to david, and why cant this horrible witch hunt be over.? Havent they suffered enough? SFACC should be ashamed of themselves, what a load of shit., they are supposed to protect the animal, and both the rights of theowner and dog. Instead, they have made it a mission to torture both. This is still one of the most unbeleivabe scenarios i have ever heard, and I think about charlie everyday. I also think what if this happened to me and my 98 pound lab pit mix? would we become victims too. thankfully i no longer reside in SF .

I believe that Charlie’s family should have the right to see…and spend some time with their Baby…and know for themselves that he is alive…and well…The ACC…should release Charlie to them…with strict warnings that Charlie must be kept on a leash…This would be so much more of a WIN/WIN situation than a win/lose situation…It is sickening the way it is handled…it makes my heart ache for this poor sweetheart that did nothing WRONG…and is being tossed between all of yous…Put all your heads together…and brainstorm…respecting…of course…all parties…But…please…remember the owners…how they feel about all this…and Charlie…

This was already done on Jan 10th and a settlement was reached, in the middle of the night I believe. Charlie is either off somewhere, living his life and enjoying his newfound freedom from ACC as agreed upon in the settlement. Or he’s dead as David is guessing on his Help Save Charlie FB page. I’m hoping it is the former. But, David better collect more money just in case he needs it somewhere down the line.

It seems clear to me SFACC is another governmental agency staffed by personnel that care only about keeping their jobs, covering their asses as it were, and uninhibited at violating the law and court decisions themselves.
my thoughts all along. The city of SF has turned this into a 3-ring circus. If they could only see how low-life it makes them look. There’s a story here, but God knows what they are thinking. Politics! ain’t they wonderful?

I need to know why a human can kill someone or something and get put in jail and then released early. Charlie bits a house that was foreign to him and he gets a death sentence. Do the police and courts have that much extra time to spend on this misfortune. I am glad to hear that CA has funds now since they are handling this case instead of releasing the dog to owner with a warning. The dog was up to date on shots and the owner is willing to take responsibility of taking Charlie home and insuring that he would not let Charlie off leash again.
I’m sorry you have to continue to go through this travesty of justice. I’m wondering if you contact the federal judge who kept Charlie alive…would he be able to oversee enforcement of your agreement and what about your attorney…is he still around. Shouldn’t he be overseeing this well or ensuring enforcement of the agreement. Those other people are so vile and disgusting and I basically told them so and after reading the article by Cindy of the Pit Bull Examiner…well that just tells you the kind of people they are….r we even sure they are people…could they be alien life forms with human skin.
I hope they’re not aliens from outer space, but maybe they are? Are any of them from Vegas?
